A wife and working mother of two, Cheli's passion has always been kids and education. After earning a Bachelors of Science Degree in Exceptional Child and Elementary Education from Barry University at 19, Cheli put her educational career on hold to pursue a modeling career in New York, where she was quite successful, and is still a member of SAG (Screen Actors Guild).

Cheli is author of the best-selling series on school success, School Talk! Two upcoming books in the series, Homework Talk! (July 2006) and Test Talk! (January 2007). Other books in the series include: Parent Talk!, Teacher Talk!, Principal Talk! and School Board Talk!

Cheli is founder of one of the first K-8 public schools that earned the highest educational rating among all of the schools within the State of Florida. Currently she is the principal of Coral Gables Elementary, A Nationally Recognized School of Excellence and an A+ Florida School.

She is an extensively published writer and national public speaker. Her expertise has been presented on dozens of radio programs throughout the country.
