The “Be Safe!” Curriculum is a turnkey safety program in elementary schools by local active and retired law enforcement professionals. These presenters show children and parents—in a non-threatening way and through “what if?” scenarios—how to identify and respond to dangerous situations. The “Be-Safe!” Curriculum is offered as a public service at no cost to schools and communities that are committed to the prevention of child abduction and molestation. Bring the “Be Safe!” Curriculum to your school or community.

The “Be Safe!” Book is a coloring/workbook that features 12 “Be Safe!” Tips accompanied by an image that a child can color, and “what if?” scenarios that the parent and the child can review together. Each tip page is designed to be removed from the “Be Safe!” Book and posted on the refrigerator, ensuring frequent ignition of conversation between parents and children on how to stay safe and out of the hands of child abductors and molesters. The “Be Safe!” Book will be distributed to every elementary-aged child as the AmberWatch Foundation extends it’s reach into each county in the nation.

The National “Be Safe!”  Public Service Announcement Campaign encompasses numerous public service announcements for print, radio and television. These PSA’s feature 12 “Be Safe!” Tips derived from the “Be Safe!” Curriculum, and are uniquely targeted to parents and children. Many celebrities and well-known sports stars have contributed, and continue to contribute, to the creation of the “Be Safe!” public service announcements.

The AmberWatch Foundation “Be Safe!” Education Program:

  • Teaches children how to identify potential endangerment scenarios and protect themselves from abuse, abduction and exploitation
  • Empowers children with the information, tools, and support they need to be safe, without frightening them
  • Provides parents with a checklist of simple safety measures, deterrence strategies and solutions to minimize the chances of harm to their children
  • Ignites conversation and interaction between parents and children regarding the dangers posed by abductors and molesters
